@vsm1 other than the small tear on the pocket there were not any flaws with the trunks. What exactly seems to be wrong with them?

Thank you for your quick responses. I think a refund to Pypal would be the easiest resolution. I didn't see your comment about the pocket tear, if one was sent after the purchase. It was quite a tear, that Should have been part of the description, not after the purchase. It wasn't mentioned in the posting description.

The other issue was that the waist band of the the trunks were huge. It was determined that the waist band had no elasticity left in it at all. Apparently dried out. Hopefully, we'll get reimbursed soon. Unfortunately, a bad first impression of poshmark and the purchase all around. I couldn't write earlier because we took off for vacation and just got back. Needless to say, I didn't take the trunks

@vsm1 if you would have requested a refund during the acceptance period, yes. But you’ve waited almost a whole month after the funds have been released.

I was going on vacation. I received the items late. The ripped, misrepresented swimming trunks was the least of my priorities when I received them just before going away on vacation. You Obviously should have posted a picture of the ripped pocket and highlighted it in the item description. Being an experienced seller, you should have Also known and mentioned the dry rotted inelastic waistband in the item description. The waist band was inelastic and Very large, not a small by any means.

I would like you to take ownership of this situation and pursue the refund for me. I'd prefer not to escalate this situation just to get my refund, which may affect your online presence, but will if necessary. Your choice. Let me know one way or another by tomorrow. You also said you would get back to me within 24 hours three days ago and didn't. All around questionable.

@vsm1 i am just relaying information from the support team and trying to help you as best i can. There were several emails back & forth therefore taking longer than 24 hours. I’ve also had a very busy schedule this week, so I apologize the process has taken 2-3 days. I did inform you about the tear on the pocket and gave you 24+ hours to respond. I was not aware of it when i listed the item or i would have added that in the description.

@vsm1 i was not Aware of the waistband either and did not encounter that while shipping. I am taking responsibility for this but poshmark support said you must contact them for additional information on a refund.

I don't understand how a seller on this site doesn't have control to issue a refund for an item they posted and sold, even if it was beyond the 'formal' refund period, all things considered in this case. Regardless, I didn't receive a message about the tear in the pocket. The website description didn't mention it. Nor was the stretched out, dry, inelastic waistband mentioned in the item description.

Now we're being asked to spend more time on this item for a faulty posting just to get our money back. Absolutely pathetic and unacceptable. None of this would be an issue if the item was properly, honestly and accurately described on Your store. We will be addressing this matter with Poshmark directly and filing a complaint for faulty advertising.

@vsm1 you can’t message people on this platform there was a comment i tagged you in that shows time and date. If you’d like to see it you can simply go to the original listing. I didn’t know about the elastic waistband like I’ve mentioned before. If you want a resolution i would contact support. Have a nice day!
