Hi! I'm Mattie. I have invested in and loved jewelry my whole life. Since the year 2000, when I would set up tents at events in L.A. to share my passion thru sales, I have fostered a devotion to the antique and vintage jewelry trade. The handling of antique and vintage, both costume and fine jewelries, both excite and relax me. My daydreams while I handle these precious pieces could have been the basis of many a novel. My loyalty is to the craft 100%. I loathe to see a beautiful piece of art go to the melters; and if it is hand made, I just get sick at the thought. To me, a Jewelry gift is a never-ending display love and/or respect that carries a legacy long beyond one lifetime. One might say that I have: WAY-BACK WANDERLUST! I market for family but will state so. I offer free returns on items not as described. Each purchase has a free gift inside! I will NEVER, without mention, use a color editor for my jewelry sales. I try to make sure that my photos are taken in natural light. The only editing/filters I use are the resizing and vignette options. I'm a gemmy but don't have the degree. I don't have access to my presidium but prefer old school science anyway. I use a refractometer, dichroscope, polariscope, Chelsea filter, loupe, real paper reference BOOKS and JSP acids for testing metals. If an R.I. read is not in the ad, one can be provided on request.
