@mynahshine it was just such a strange interaction. I immediately changed the price because I simply couldn’t fathom why anyone would make something like that up. But after I spent an hour looking at literally every ring released in 2005, I realized it was total BS

@gardengurl64 sorry, it was quite an enlightening process though. The ring truly is gorgeous. And to be frank, at the end of the day I sold it out of principal. If this post hadn’t drawn so much baseless scrutiny regarding my integrity, if I wasn’t “checked” by total idiots about how I should go about pricing and so on, I never would’ve sold it for 60 bucks.

@gardengurl64 it was actually shared quite a bit, but what ended up happening was people started speculating on its authenticity and price, casting doubt on potential bidders. The post drew tons of activity (probably because of the heated back and forth) and you could actually observe buyers pulling away. It was really interesting

@mayatudor16 Oh I meant share as in sell it to a new owner but yes I have seen that kind of activity drive buyers away before. People take some of it way too serious. I am trying to sell things I don’t wear and get some extra $ and I know others are making it a business and good luck to them but it can still be a pleasant fun place to shop/sell

Hi Maya—I’m Julie!!! So, tempted to buy your Tory Burch earrings! But, after losing so many of them i just can’t!. I have problems with stud earrings. Used to keep a pr of each gold and silver also with the old Kate Spade bow earrings! I noted that u liked my Balenciaga bag and it’s great! I just bought a new black one. The ivory one is a reposh and was authenticated by Poshmark. I will consider all offers

Sorry, anyway, so my issue is that while I like it personally, it’s 1) not in any traditional chopard style 2) while pretty, it’s essentially a piece of silver that says chopard on it. Intrinsic value does not justify 100 bucks
