mes_swim @smaroulis awh! My childhood love for scooby doo inspired my parents to get a Great Dane when I was very young—we’ve been hooked ever since! Our first lived to be 12 and Angus (the harlequin pictured above) is still pushing along even though he’s an old man now—I love them to death! And I love my kitties as well. I’ve never understood the dog vs. cat person mentality because I’m both! xx

smaroulis @mes_swim we’ve been very fortunate to be real loving parents to our animals. I’m not sure everyone gets that connection or feels that way towards animals. Great Danes are very special.we had collies too that were wonderful! Our last Shih Tzu was not the sharpest tool in the shed- but incredibly loving.
