Hi! I'm Meg. I'm from Houston and some of my favorite brands are Free People, Kimchi Blue, and Desigual. I'm really into clothes, shoes, and makeup. But when I'm not shopping or getting gussied up, I love to read, mostly historical non-fiction, as well as historical fiction. My eras of interest include British history 1660-1945, American history's "Gilded age", and World War II.

weemeglet @messerac NO WAY! A fellow Anglophile! I have a history teacher in my family - my mother-in-law actually teaches at my k-12 alma mater but she came right after I graduated, so I didn't know her. But my dads a coach there (and an alumnus) so when Danny and I started dating, they sought each other out. Also, she knew more about me than Danny did in the first weeks, because all my old teachers are her colleagues. They praised me highly, and as you can see, Reader, I married him ;)
