mschangy @janisfb I don't really like heavy heavy foundations for textured skin, I like to focus on a good base, such as Mac skin smoother, which goes on light but fills and smoothes the texture, then okay foundation over that. Using foundation to do that gets really heavy and cakey

mschangy @janisfb i wouldn't say its better, i would just say they're two completely different products. Skin smoother acts as both a primer and a filler. and it leaves your foundation velvety soft. I love UD, but they do different things in my opinion

kristenacox Can i ask you for a tip when using mac eyeshadow? A friend is having a hard time blending it. Could it be her cc cream, clean her brushes, or i wonder if she should use them a bit damp... I am hooked on them, but sometimes notice the staying power dies down by evening. Any tips? I have yet to cover the lid damp, but if you could give us a tip on how to accomplish it, we would love it... Thanks! And, thank you for being willing to share your knowledge :)

mschangy @kristenacox hi! on the lid, i don't use the cc cream or foundation because it can make it hard to blend. that being said, having nothing on the lid makes it very hard to blend as well. I find the easiest product is a prolongwear concealer or paint pot--also other eye primers from other brands work as well. Using the brush damp makes it hard because the eyeshadow will stick the first place it touches and not move:)

mschangy @kristenacox and that goes for all eyeshadows--there are plenty that aren't mac that have equal or better color payoff for less money--so don't think I'm just pushing mac. but anytime you put shadow directly onto skin, especially the eyelids, which can tend to get oily-you're going to see it wear off quickly. Now use a primer---you could sleep in it for three days and it would still be there hahaha

kristenacox @mschangy i laughed so hard,: to sleep in it for three days! Rofl! That was hilarious... I should get some primer, then. I bought so.me, but it was just a drugstore brand. I don't have a problem going outside of mac, but the colors are so amazing, that i kind of have a hard time branching off, unless it's a color that is just brilliant. How does mac primer differ from the others?

mschangy @arsbars and for the pores, Mac skin smoother is great for that. It fills everything nicely and acts like a primer before your foundation. It makes your face look flawless

mschangy @arsbars yes I have one skin smoother left, you can try a regular drugstore primer to start but i find that they're not thick and structured enough to actually fill. Yes it really works, ask most of my customers- I tell them when something is a waste of money haha

mschangy @arsbars I'm sorry I don't trade. The smoother isn't listed in my closet but it is brand new. It's sitting in the back of my pro train case as a backup and hasn't been touched. They are Nike Pro Tattoo "tight of the moment" tights, and I want them badly! It's so offensive to low ball people and I feel like if they have a price on something, that's what they want to get and I decide if I can pay that. I would definitely report her to posh. Write An email to customer service with the ID numbers of the transactions that they can read those conversations on... That's gotta stop what she did was WRONG

rockafeller Hi Megan, I get what you mean by drama queens. Just block them. The good peeps out weigh the bad. If it gets monotonous bc of so many little sales ( like my one lip liner LOL) than maybe you could do a minimum of 50.00 & make it so they have to tell you which items they want. mschangy @rockafeller they're both the same product, it's just one is a refill for the pro pan and the other comes in the black plastic clam shell like you probably have now. Make sure you save all your containers for back to Mac. If you bring it around in your purse or for travel you definitely want the regular version

Right around 3pm everyday, I have to wipe my face down especially my eye makeup bc gets into my eyes and they become itchy & burning. This happens daily but worse during that time of the month for me. Here's my routine. Wash my face with becca clear, becca stay matte primer/foundation, (cont next comment)

mschangy @jngirgis hi! posh limits characters so feel free to call me or text me 5083600895. I would recommend mac's oil control lotion and depending on how oily we're talking, possible the refined zone treatment. Also, for the eyes, the 24 hour eye base or a pro longer paint pot will keep that shadow from moving. Using the pro longer concealer, which is water resistant will also help from concealer sliding around under your eye :) hope that helps

mschangy @arronharless hi! Thank you so much! Benefits pore less primer can be drying because it fills your pores. You can always try a moisturizer underneath or moisture infusion serum by Mac. It doubles as a primer and a moisturizer. You can go to any Mac and ask for samples of their skincare. Try that one!!

mschangy @candacedingler you're very welcome! You made some great choices. I would say if you have a lip liner that has a pinky tone but isn't too dark, try it out with the Creme d nude, Creme d nude is really neutral and can be light. You can even cover your whole lip with the liner you choose to give the lipstick the tone you want :)

I was recently robbed of my entire Mac collection and it was kinda a lot since I worked for MAC back in the day. they got away with 75 grand worth of product and my back up. After that I remember what truly mattered. It’s been awhile and I’m just starting to wear a little makeup again. The thing I really miss is MAC stilife.
