meganelaynehart @joanie517 , here’s a question then. I’m getting alot of obvious spam comments on each listing saying the exact same thing about wanting more photos, sizes, and an explanation that the buyer is wanting the info for their daughter and yadda yadda yadda. Then an email. I’m not buying it. But is there a way to block that?

joanie517 @meganelaynehart good for you for not falling for it! Unfortunately there’s not a way to prevent it from happening on your account. Anytime I think I’ve gotten a spammer, I report the comment, report their actual account, and block them. You can also go to the “account” section in your notifications and help get spammers and scammers off Poshmark.

meganelaynehart @joanie517 , one more quick question: I sold a dress and the buyer was local. She came and picked it up from me after I packed it up and printed the label. How do I let the system know that it was a local pick-up? It’s still showing as “shipped”. Thanks for any advice on that!

joanie517 @meganelaynehart hmmm well if they paid through Poshmark and then picked it up, I guess you have to just mark it as shipped, even though it wasn’t. I would definitely suggest still shipping even if they’re local so someone can’t rip you off and say you never shipped it (since it won’t be tracking, you won’t get your money). Also, you’re going to have to wait a couple of weeks for the funds to be released to you.

fredascott @meganelaynehart people seem to do this at first to see if you’re vulnerable. Just turn them down or ignore. It will stop.
