catsinq Hi, just trying to get in touch with you re: the purplish vintage ballgown that you have. You say it is an 8 and fits like a 6, and I am wondering if you have time to measure it for me? catsinq Thanks - sadly, the bust would fit but the waist is so small. Mine is 30". Did you measure side to side and it's 14'? I am so sad. Did you make sure the fabric was nice and flat? (you can tell I like it!)

catsinq If you get a chance, that would be really helpful. Or just make sure you had the fabric flattened all the way out when you measured, as if it were tight against a body ....

melindamgraham @catsinq 28” when remeasured:( It also has stitched in stays, so would be nearly impossible to alter. Sorry I don’t have better news!
