smithtweedy_co Hey there! So sorry for this inconvenience. Have never understood how or why that piece came loose. We just opened the box and there was this circular piece laying in the box. We really thought we had reattached it well but it must have been brittle to have not only come detached again bit to break into more pieces. We should have asked a cobbler to investigate whether it was fixable. Anyhoo please accept our apologies. We are so sorry for this inconvenience.
