queenkeeper @melissamarie137 me too. But you have youth on your side and I have experience on mine. I am 64 and was born in 1953 and I remember the poodle skirt my grandmother sewed for me. I am a child of the 50s and have always loved the clothes , petticoat, gloves and hats. And I wear all but the gloves when I leave the house.

melissamarie137 @queenkeeper I was raised by my grandmother who of course watched all the old black white films with Marilyn, and Dorothy,Jayne,Grace,Rita and Eva just to name a few. They became my idols and since i was a kid I've always been drawn to vintage fashion. Before she passed, we'd go thrift together. she had such a great eye for true vintage and taught me so much about the clothing among other things. I'm glad that there are women of the time who still embody the class of the time. Timeless
