dress_me_posh @lululuvspink411Hello! I was confused by it too at first, and I'm still learning how it works. But basically, people who host the parties can choose their favorites from other people's closets. These choices are called "host picks". The way I understand it, it's an honor to have your item chosen because it's seen as an exceptional item for purchase. The host picks are put into a special showroom called "Host Picks Showroom". Only items from posh compliant closets are chosen.

As far as how to get an item from your closet chosen by a party host--- I'm still learning about that myself! 🙃🤦 I know one way to have your item chosen is going directly to the party hosts page and sometimes right before a party they have a listing saying they are a host. I comment in that listing that I would love it if they would consider my closet for a host pick, share a few of their items, and hope for the best!

dress_me_posh @shootingstarr68 hello! Welcome to Poshmark :) Actually you may be noticing free shipping on everyone else's items because Poshmark is offering you a special discount. Often they award new Poshers with special offers. The items you have for sale do not have discounted or free shipping unless you personally foot the bill and offer a discount to the interested party.

dress_me_posh @shootingstarr68 there are sometimes random "Closet Clear Out" events that Poshmark holds for 24 hours. (You would get an email to notify you of the event.) You lower your prices by 10% and the people who had "liked" your items get an email with the price drop notification AND discounted shipping. Poshmark pays the discounted shipping for you in these events so you can enjoy the extra profit.

dress_me_posh @dinglefoots I personally ask all the people hosting for a better chance of being picked. Party hosts especially like choosing a host pick from your closet if they know you are a new Posher, so it might really help if you mention that fact to them. Usually a party host will have a listing that actually says "party tonight!" or something like that in their closet. I usually comment on those listings rather than on one of their for sale listings.
