kettmissy @802_to_you Awww...thank you! I have so many shoes and not enough room any more lol. I have been wearing a size 11 since 1985 and I remember the struggle. Even now it’s not easy. So many of us wear a size 11. They sell out quickly. And so many manufacturers only go up to a size 10! Anyway, thank you for checking out my closet and taking the time to comment 💖

kettmissy @802_to_you Thank you for taking up our cause! Over the years I have seen improvement. However it could always become better situation for all involved. Size 11 shoes sell out quickly! Manufacturers are just denying themselves sales and denying the public adequate shoe sizing. I know, I know, I’m preaching to the choir. Perhaps, someday, the manufacturers will get the message!

kettmissy @julietobet Hello! I did measure across the chest and the measurement is 12.5 inches. I wore this dress once about 3 years ago. I’m typically a 34 between an A-B and the top fit me rather well. Also the dress is machine washable and can go through the dryer. It’s 100 % cotton. So the material does have the potential to shrink based upon water and dryer temperature. I hope that’s helpful.

kettmissy @bubbles1948 Good question! I think that part of the issue is that the items are listed in Canadian currency only so the price would need to be converted. And I was also thinking about postage as well. The irony is that some states in the US are next to the border and the distance is far closer than the lower states! I think that Poshmark could make this easier for buyers/sellers by listing the price in dollars and what the postage would be. Etsy does it quite well!

bubbles1948 @kettmissy Whatever the costs are, just take 30% off the top as a general average and you have the cost. It's a huge savings for US poshers and a simple calculation on your phone. Since the seller pays the shipping, the cost shouldn't be a concern.

kettmissy @bubbles1948 Hi again! I will have to check out some closets from Canada! I was thinking about trying an experiment to see how to purchasing an item from Canada would be on this system. On the US Poshmark , the buyer pays for the shipping. That is, unless the seller sends an offer. Now I’m curious! I live in New Mexico and it would be interesting to see if it runs smoothly. I vow to try it before the end of the year. Btw, have visited Canada, loved it!❤️

kettmissy @bubbles1948 Hi again! I found a bracelet to buy under the Canadian Poshmark and I got flagged because I do not have a Canadian address to ship the item to! It’s very disappointing because I love that bracelet and I have been looking for it! So perhaps that’s why US buyers cannot buy from Canadian sellers. I hope something changes because I would love to have another market to buy or sell to!

I wish it was possible to start a petition on here. Why shouldn't we be able to buy from each other??!! I'm going to write to the Canadian Head Office.

And the chain is made in an inexpensive way. If I find out any more information I will let you know. I own the set and the are no manufacturers markings.

I have been finding luck doing local thrift shopping and finding and replacing the Brûlèe set I sold a year+ ago to help pay bills for as low as $2.99 and $9.99!! I felt like it was karma because the person who I sold it to made the transaction so unpleasant (alleged that in the short turnaround time from selling to shipping it to her, I must have manipulated the stone count, broke it on purpose, etc. etc.

posh_panache_ The truth was she didn't like that I wouldn't sell for as low as she initially offered, so she sought revenge and was spiteful in her rating and then some). It was so upsetting and shocking that I got off PM for awhile. Now I just don't let people like that bother me anymore. Anyways, I am sure that piece will pop up again by a more reputable seller. 🤞 I'll be in touch if I find anywhere.
