Hello From the Sunshine State ☀️ My name is Melissa. Boymom of 4. Lolli of 2. 80's Baby. Virgo. Redhead. I am a self taught furniture artist. A little girl in the 90's, I would sneak into my Daddy's Shed and grab a rusty bucket of latex paint and an old worn out paint brush. I painted furniture and walls and ceilings. I also fashion designed my barbies clothes and hair, lucky gals. Today I am still painting and still chopping on clothes and hair with common household scissors. I am a lover of everything old, rusty, naturally patina'd. I love the smell of old book pages and fresh white linens on my bed. Old Station Wagons. 90's Country Music. Strolls on the beach early morning, before the crowds come and the sun is just peaking out, when seashells have washed up on the sand untouched by tourists. Deep Conversations. A Minimalist with a Maxiamilst home. I collect old books, new books and furniture. Yard Sales, Estate Sales and Thrift Stores allow me to fill my home, and yours, with unique items you can't find in today's brick and mortar. I am constantly changing my style and my mind which fills my Poshmark Closet. I'm a strong believer in repurposing. I package my items using recycled material such as; plastic bags, paper bags, newspaper and broken down cardboard boxes. I hope you continue to use these items for yourself, too.
