It was washed before I packed it, and I can’t help but think it may have had something to do with either the plastic it was wrapped in, or the USPO box it was packed in. imb320 Hi, thanks for your question. As to the sweater - it is a delicate thin fabric heather blue/white and In my opinion somewhat semi shear. By that I mean, as an example, if I hold my hand under it I can see its outline but no detail. If, however, I hold it against the light I would call it see through. I hope this helps.
