I submitted a return request to Poshmark for the Eastland clogs. this issue seems to happen to shoes of this style from many brands. it's called dry rot and I did not know that these were in that condition. I'm sorry about wasting your time with this purchase. hopefully posh will agree to the return. you could contact them also from the purchase page to expedite this return. Christy
