mlascurain @coachandtrunk thank you for your kindness I appreciate it. I’m just trying to get pictures of everything and get up and running I have enough stuff to open a fairly large thrift shop lol. My one question I have if you don’t mind would be is the shipping paid by the buyer or the seller. I’m just trying to figure out how everything works. Thank you in advance for your time :)

coachandtrunk @mlascurain Hi Melissa, I'm happy to help. Typically the buyer pays $6.79 for shipping, that amount is set by Poshmark. Every now and then, Poshmark with have specials like "Closet Clean Out" and the shipping is reduced to $4.99 for the buyer. Now if you want to make an offer to a buyer, you can choose to change the shipping amount the buyer pays as follows: 1-Leave it at $6.79 (no shipping discount). 2- Lower shipping cost to $4.99 for the buyer but you will "pay" the difference ($1.80)

coachandtrunk continued-- so keep that in mind when determining your price and profit margin. 3-When making an offer to a buyer, you can choose to pay all of the shipping yourself ($6.79). Again, keep in mind this amount is subtracted from your earnings. I forgot to tell you, when Poshmark has the $4.99 shipping, you do not pay the difference ($1.80), Poshmark in a sense does. It's like their gift to us to get sales. LOL! I hope I've explained this okay. If not let me know. I'm here if you have ?'s.

hyflex Hello! So..I think they maybe tried delivering your package but I guess it's overweight😑😕😩 I swear i weighed it and it was under 5. I'm thinking they need you to pay the postage for whatever not covered which would be maybe a couple bucks🤦 This is only my 10th sales here on Poshmark so I'm still kinda new to the way things work. I emailed Poshmark but yet to hear back from them😰 I promise as soon as i do i will message you!!!! SO SORRY!!!🤐🙏
