Hi! I'm Melissa. Welcome to my closet where my mission is to re-home books that would otherwise be recycled. I search through thousands of pounds of books to find gently used to like new books that are bound for recycling. It upset me that so many quality books were going to be recycled even though they are still in print and more are being printed every year. Don’t get me wrong, recycling is great but to have to use more paper to print more copies of books when these are perfectly (or almost perfectly) good, readable books seemed ridiculous to me. I try to be environmentally conscious where I can and the paper waste did not sit well with me, so I decided to try my luck selling the books for as low as possible while still making a small amount for the work myself and family puts in to find, clean and list the books. I have all kinds of books for various ages and from most genres. I don’t have the newest best sellers of course, but if there is something you are looking for and don’t see, leave me a message and I may be able to get my hands on a copy for you! zombgrl49 @booksandwhatnot and tips on how to make things a bit easier on yourself- if you have time to sort through some of your boxes I'd sort based on condition. for instance, you have a box of "excellent condition" books with no tears or folds ect. write down a list of them and then just pull images and details like weight of book from Google to quickly post. Then the only ones you'd really have to go through and post pics of would be the ones that have any sort of folding or damage
