alihutson You are the first bad review I’ve had in 97 transactions. I sold you $400 worth of barely used bikini wear for $30 (most were very recent purchases the ONLY reason I sold them is I had a double mastectomy from Breast Cancer) I even put in an extra top to be nice. I live in a very nice smoke free home and take excellent care of my swimwear...

alihutson ...... I mailed the items in a brand new 2 gallon zip lock bag and used a recycled polymailer. (Very common practice among poshmark sellers.) Not really sure what else I could have done.... considering they had been washed in scent free detergent before shipping... perhaps they got that way en route via a mail persons truck ....

melodyanne11 @alihutson I’m sorry. I don’t know what to tell you: they smelled like nag champa incense. And I meant to tell you that there was an extra top in there. I thought might have been by mistake so I put it aside. I can send it back to you and you can smell it and see what I’m talking about. I must have a very sensitive nose or something because I can still smell the smell in my closet and the 5 I bought have already been washed.

melodyanne11 . The one I didn’t wash was the extra one you sent and it is in my office. I’m sorry if it got a strange smell in route, but that’s weird too. The bikinis were perfectly fine though as far as being good quality.

alihutson @melodyanne11 strange. I’m familiar with nag champa although it’s been years. I don’t remember liking the smell. My nose is super sensitive from 3 months of chemo so I feel like I would have noticed it. I do keep some of my poshmark items in a wood lined drawer. I think it’s cedar. Wonder if that is what you are smelling?

alihutson @melodyanne11 I’m sorry they were smelly truly. Please don’t send the other back just toss it or give away. I was trying to be nice and include an extra since none of my tops fit me anymore 😕 try soaking in vinegar water solution that often gets odors/stains out..:::

alihutson @melodyanne11 also I do appreciate your honesty. I have 2 other swim suits that are for sale I stored in the same drawer. I have closed my closet down until I have time to investigate it. Don’t want to do this to someone else.

melodyanne11 @alihutson I am new to Poshmark so I didn’t know you could talk to a seller personally or I would have done that. I tried to contact poshmark to ask what I should do but no one ever replied to me. My nose is probably really sensitive to things as well. I almost got ill from the smell. Some things don’t sit well with me. I put some smell good beads in with them when I washed them this last time so I’ll just air them out after that. And now I’ll never buy anything cedar either.

alihutson @melodyanne11 poshmark is notorious for slow and shady customer service. And it’s gotten more difficult to use ...I hate to say this but after my move I may close my closet down.

danaliano Hi Melody. I can’t find those yellow Maaji bottoms that you ordered If You would like to cancel the order I totally understand or pick out another piece that would be great .
