bob_foster Hi Mel, Congratulations on your first sale. Its a biggie cause sales will come more often after the first, though I have noticed lately that people want somewhat extreme discounts on items, but if you buy the items cheap enough it shouldn't matter. bob_foster Hi Mel, my closet is bob_foster on poshmark. I have about 1500 items listed at this time. Sales have been pretty slow lately, I had a few days with no sales at all which is unusual. I had Four sales yesterday including a bundle of 8 items that sold for $64. I made about $40 after shipping. 1 sale today that is a bundle of 4 items for $50. I'll make about $39. You can definitely maker money on Poshmark but prepare for low ball offers from people.

bob_foster Just type in bob_foster in the search bar and change the drop down to people from listings and I will be there and you can check out my closet. I have a very big closet, a lot of items to share 3 times a day. If they didn't have bulk sharing option I would never be able to do it. Yeah, check it out and let me know what you think.

bob_foster Hi again Mel, there are two ways to share items from your closet. One is on each item you have listed there a square/rectangle share symbol on the right hand side below your listing. The other way to share is a bulk share tool which is right next to the about function that has wrenches crossed. If you click that symbol it will give you the option to share all of your items in bulk. The more you share the better sales you have. I will share your items to my followers.

bob_foster Hey, I will continue to share your items to my 50,000 plus followers at least once a day. I suggest you share your own items at least 3 times a day. It also helps to share other peoples items who share yours to build a community of people who commonly share closets. maplebetsy @mcoltfoster I will start with the basics! 1) share your own closet 3x a day - use this button under the photo 🔂 that gets your item to the top of the search feeds 2) list 1-5 items a day 3) return shares & follow back again use this button for other poshers items 🔁. if I share 8 of your items, share 8 of mine! Sharing is caring! It’s posh courtesy 4. follow new closets - 500 a day if you can - click on the blue rectangle

One thing I was wondering though is there a way to share your closet with your followers or only to the places that come up like Pinterest? Love you

bob_foster Hi Mel, As @maplebetsy said when you share another poshers item it will share with your followers but only your followers. If you want to share to another platform you have to share again and click on the platforms name below your followers on share page. As I said before phone applications are very foreign to me. mcoltfoster @bob_foster Hey Bob how's it going? So I sold an xl bathing suit bottom about 2 weeks ago and the lady gave me a 3 star review because it didn't fit her. Like that's something I can control, if she had asked me for a refund I would have done that, but no instead she gives me a 3 star review like it's my fault it didn't fit. I guess you just can't please some people.

bob_foster Hey Mel, I know it sucks the first few times it happens but after a while you get used to an occasional low rating and you just take in stride. Remember it wasn't you who chose to purchase a size that didn't fit. Just try to not let it bother you or slow you momentum of selling on Poshmark. You'll find most buyers are great and give five star ratings. I have 2059 sales and 1342 five star ratings and I have a 4.9 star average. So don't worry.

bob_foster My advice is to keep on listing and selling and feel fortunate that Poshmark actually protects their sellers unlike other selling sites. You will find it much better than other alternative online platforms and returns will be very minimal. Sorry about the rating and have a great day.

mcoltfoster @bob_foster I know but it sucks. I also got a 5 star rating from another person today. I just don't understand why someone would do that with an issue I have no control over. Well what are you gonna do just let it go. I guess I'm used to having a 100% rating on the place that cannot be named and then this.
