The pictures and descriptions are really the most important things if you want your item to sell. Then it's just about sharing (your own listings and others) regularly! It's a great community to visit each day and buy/sell!

@litrk Welcome to Poshmark!! Here are some tricks. Share your listings frequently throughout the day and follow people who follow the brands of clothing you have listed. Take good pics and write good descriptions with measurements. It can take time to sell on Poshmark when you are new unless you have items that are in demand. So just be patient. Items will eventually sell.

Hi again! I have a question I hope you can help me with, thanks for being my go to! 😁😘 This “closet clear out” is unclear to me. Do I have to go to each item and “EDIT” then drop the price? Or, can I click on the listing and press “drop price” button at the bottom which sends to likers? Can I discount shipping to either $5.95 or $4.99? I haven’t been able to find a clear description of how this works. Thanks for your time!

Got divorced in early 2020, and work led me to Ft Myers for a lengthy project. After the project was complete, and everyone went back to their “ homes”… I looked around, and said, yeah… I live here now!

@garydavis809 I lived in Cedar Park for 20 years. It’s North of Austin. Then Hutto for one year before moving here. I do miss the country feel of Texas, that’s more my vibe. I do like living on the coast though because I’m originally from New England. I worked for a construction company over there as an office manager. Commercial construction. Their home office is here in Jax. Have to work from home now though due to medical reasons.

@hipandclassy Yikes! Yeah, know all about the back issues. Blew my L5/S1 out in 2007 snowboarding. Had surgery, then a yr later it was like they never did anything. So yeah, still deal with it myself. I really like Kingwood area outside of Houston. I like Houston alot, as long as you’re in the right part. Of course Austin is cool. Not a fan of Dallas/ Fort Worth.

@garydavis809 yup just had TLIF surgery done back in March. It didn’t fix the issues. Austin is too weird for me. Houston drivers are like Florida drivers, crazy, or maybe the drivers here are just transplants like myself. Lol I don’t know. I heard there are good parts of Houston. I’d love to travel Florida and explore because I love exploring. Just not in the cards for me right now. Have a great day!

@pitbull1246 I was getting out of a relationship and my mom wanted me to move here. She wasn’t in Jacksonville at that time. She was living in Ponte Vedra. So my sons and I moved here in 2019. But then my mom passed away unexpectedly a week after we got here. I had moved in with my parents when I got here.

But I also don’t want to be going 24/7 because I want to be able to travel some. I like exploring new places. Would love to find a partner that likes doing that but also one that will sit with me on the porch at night out in the country. Lol

@pitbull1246 I think because people don’t really travel that’s the reason they are so quick to judge the US. Every place has its good things and bad things. My envy my dad. He is retired Navy and has been a Merchant Marine for many years. He is due to come back next week after being gone for 5 months. He just sent me pictures of Northern stars in Iceland the other night. It was beautiful.

@pitbull1246 I used to like Michael Kors. I picked up a Tory Burch purse the other day at the goodwill bins. It’s a leather bag that I’m going to clean up. There’s no tears in the leather. I’m sure it will clean up nice but I’m keeping that for myself. Lol

I do feel weird accepting something from someone I don’t know because a lot of the time there’s always an agenda behind it and somehow I would have to owe that person at some point. I just don’t have anything to give back at this point except my heart and knowledge. Lol
