fawnmango @merimanatee they are! I was lucky enough to swim with them in Crystal river. Gentle giants! No natural predators (natural key here, make sure you watch out for them while boating folks!!!)

merimanatee @fawnmango That’s wonderful you had that experience with them! I lived in Homosassa for 10 years and truly enjoyed being close to my beloved manatees. I felt like swimming with them was a spiritual experience. They’re too precious not to protect.
