mic73 @agonza03 Yeah. It actually feels decent at the moment considering it’s been as cold as -30 windchill. Well, being from Detroit you probably recall the cold winters. Don’t think my friend would ever move back here. He’s acclimated to the warm temps there. I’m ready to go somewhere warm for a week or two . I was just looking at some vacation ideas online. Anyways. mic73 @agonza03 wow. That’s crazy. I think it’s like 50 again here. Was 32. This morning. Nice that you have a pool! If I lived in Texas , I think a pool would be a requirement I have a carpet cleaning business. So I get extremely busy in summer. It would be tough in that Texas heat !

southpawbling The problem is by May, the water is almost 90 degrees. It is a must here. I hate public pools. It's salt water, so easy to maintain. Do you do any tile or just carpet?

southpawbling I would not be able to survive in that weather. When we first moved here, I was about 7 and begged my parents to let me stay in Detroit. I did, for few months, but missed my brother and sister's. Like I said now, you could not pay me to go there. It's been 15 years since I have been. I feel horrible because my dad's brother n sister are there.

mic73 @agonza03 Can’t blame you there. My friend trying to get me out there to visit. But I’m always so busy and hard to get away. I haven’t talked to him in quite awhile. But he lives Austin. Anyways, yes... I just started doing tile because I have put it off for years just because I’ve always been so busy with the truckmounted carpet cleaning. But I always had customers ask about it. So I did invest in a tile cleaning attachment. Tile actually is a great moneymaker.

southpawbling Here tile is the norm. I guess because helps keep cool with heat. My little sister runs a floor store. And she hooked me up with this nice porcelain tile to redo my bathroom. I only have 2 bathrooms at my house, but gutted out the tubs. That's kinda normal these days. Out with garden tub and in with big showers. If my dad was still alive, it would of been done.

mic73 @agonza03 wow. Sounds very nice. I have a bathroom remodeled with porcelain tile on half the wall. Ceramic on floors. I didn’t do it though. Wish I was handier at that kinda thing Sounds like your dad was. It’s a good skill to have. Some people have a knack for it.
