businmj @designercorp hi Hillary I have my first question LOL. I sold a jacket to a buyer with no history and I can’t reach them since they are only a guest. Is there any reason to believe this may be a scam of some sort or should I be okay shipping it without any issues? Thanks I’m advance!

designercorp @businmj when you go to the sale… there should be a prompt that says “message buyer… you should always be able to reach your buyer… do you see the prompt?

businmj @designercorp yes and I cannot reach buyer because it says they are a guest. So it will not allow me to message them.

designercorp @businmj … okay… good and bad news. Bad news.. i have never not (sorry for the double negative) been able to reach a buyer. Good news… go ahead and proceed with the order (take a screenshot of the Shipping Label to keep until transaction is complete)… Poshmark will issue you your money no matter what… so you’re covered.

businmj @designercorp and I apologize for continuing to reach out, but thoughts continue to pop up in my mind. the other thing I find odd is the buyer paid the full amount I was asking. Didn’t try to negotiate whatsoever. So between that and the lack of history on poshmark I am just very skeptical.

businmj Ok so Poshmark got back to me and said it’s my call whether I want to ship it out or cancel the order. But as long as the Poshmark label is on the package I’m covered either way. And the guest who purchased my jacket is in good standing right now with Poshmark. So I think I’m going to take a picture of the package with the label and ship it out. If something sounds off here, please let me know. Thanks!

Anyway, Poshmark said it’s up to me to ship out but ultimately as long as the Poshmark shipping label is on the package I’m covered. And the guest buyer is in good standing currently. So it sounds like I should be ok shipping it out. If you think otherwise, please let me know. Thanks!

But ultimately it’s still up to me and my comfort level. So it sounds like as long as I take a picture of the label on the package I should be good. If you feel otherwise please let me know. Thanks!
