buffy225 @jensjeans There is a place where the strap stitches were coming apart that needed fixed, and it specifically said no cleaning was attempted (very important to me), but there was a place on the front right side that clearly reflected substantial rubbing motions. I assume was an attempt to remove the bleeding. Instead, it caused pilling and stretching of the fabric. I worked on it so it isn't as noticeable now...

buffy225 You may consider a protective wrapping such as tissue paper or even a paper towel when shipping because fabric sliding around in a box is hard on it, boxes get torn and mashed, and plastic bags get caught and cut open in postal equipment. buffy225 ... it right away and before washing)--Huggies Simply Clean baby wipes. They are a life saver! They are good for wiping grime from straps and bottoms of Vera. They took blood off my daughter's wedding dress. I used them to lift much of the bleeding from this bag. Don't rub though, dab dab dab. Be patient and all of a sudden you will see it getting clean:) Is it possible to change the rating? I thought it was just for your use.
