Hi! I'm Michele. Thank you for stopping by. I buy almost everything (clothes, shoes, bags, makeup etc) from poshMark and other similar sites. Gone are the days of paying “mall prices” I buy some brand new & some new to me. married0120 @justyours When I bid my first thought is not to offer below 20-30% of the price usually that seems to be status quo on PM (the area most will work with) however I also take into consideration what the brand is and most of the time what that particular brand will sell for. Since I purchase quite a few tops of this particular brand that is what I usually will end up paying for this brand of top) not only on PM but I shop a lot on eBay and merc.

married0120 @justyours This is what has happened to me in the past (just this week) there was a pair of INC Jean Shorts listed for $52 way over the price of what I usually Pay for this particular brand I usually will get them from anywhere between $5-16 so I didn’t bid because it was way over the “going rate” of what I pay and I didn’t want to insult anyone by offering a low bid.

married0120 @justyours So I didn’t bid hoping the price would come down well yesterday I see that those same pair of shorts sold for 60% less than their listed price so I was kicking myself for not offering a bid because I really liked the shorts and missed out trying to follow the proper etiquette on this site.

I am the seller on here as well and it is very frustrating when for example im selling a Tory Burch bag that retails for $598 I have it listed free between $200-250 & someone offers me 99 so I definitely get it.

I guess I could mark my prices up 20% to allow for offers but I don't usually have time to bargain. So I set my prices where I can be fair to buyer and still help my clients. married0120 @bargains4me no wear or tear smoke free I used it maybe twice. I only use my large totes such as this one when I’m traveling/going out of town and I seem to always use my coach so the pink tote I only used twice to match an outfit so it was just sitting on my shelf in its dust bag that’s why I’m selling it. If I had more closet space I would probably keep it but it’s just impractical that’s why I’m selling it. But it’s in perfect condition. I kept it stuffed so it wouldn’t loose its shape.

bargains4me @married0120 Thank you for the information. On the Tory Burch website they are currently having a sale. When the sale started, I saw this bag, in this color, on sale for $219! I had to leave for work and by the time I got there it was sold out!! :( So, now I am left searching E bay, Posh, and other sites.
