I'm sure you didn't cut the watch band on purpose, in fact I'm baffled as to how it got cut it all, but I don't consider a watch with a damaged watch band to be in mint condition. And I wouldn't have purchased it in this condition.

I was extremely disappointed and upset last night because this watch was a big splurge for me. And as I can't afford $30 to $50+ for a new band, it won't feel like a new watch for me.
