Meet your Posher, Michele

Hi! I'm Michele. This was my Siberian Husky his name was Jax....He is only with me now in my heart :(:(:( He was an AWESOME husky and was loved very deeply in fact he has been gone now 19 months and I still can not talk or write about him with out crying. I miss him so much I can not put it into words ! I loved him more than anyone can love a dog. At 2.5 years old he developed a rash like spot on his face so we brought him to the vets which gave him a diagnosis of a zinc deficiency. We started him on a zinc powder and added to his dog food many snow dogs have this problem because foods we feed our dogs don't always have the proper ingredients in them especially snow dogs like the would get in the wild. Long story short he ended up actually having the zinc deficiency plus a Disease called SLE Lupus which is the worse of the two types of Lupus it can affect skin , joints and the organs. He was put on Lupus meds and I had to monitor him every day. It was not easy for either of us but I managed to have him 4 and a 1/4 years more ....the Vets told me most dogs don't last the year past diagnosis. He left us on June 8, 2021 at 6 3/4 years old ...........He was my only dog and only husky but the best husky could have ever asked for! They can be a lot to handle ....mine was our angel and will be forever remember as such. I miss you big dog life just isn't the same without you !!!!!!
