joyisahabit Hi there! I thought I would confirm that the earings you purchased are sterling silver as the original card that they are on says. They are both vintage and real and are tarnished because they are silver. Real silver tarnishes and a little silver polish will take it off.

I have these vintage earrings with the tag in both gold and silver purchased in the 90s and they don't look like that. Was hoping to give as a gift. But, will buy sterling silver earrings to replace and put the tags on. Thanks anyway.
