cairosheila Hi Michelle: The size 28 jeans you were asking about would fit a junior size 7 or misses size 6 according to the size chart for the miss me jeans. Do you have a pair of jeans that you might measure to compare? Laying flat the waist measures 14". They really are unique jeans but I would want you to be happy with your purchase. Hope this helps.
