playboy_jewelry @mcjewelzrose Re: Miss May: it's gold plated (not solid gold), so it will wear off with time/exposure to body chemistry, soap, perfume, water, chemicals, skin acidity, sweat, air, etc. Many things could cause tarnish/wear away faster/slower depending on the environment, since it's plated. I've worn mine for years & don't have a problem. When I lived in coastal GA, I had problems with jewelry due to the salt air & pollution. You could try clear nail polish.
