And the many people I have worked with through the years have come to the same conclusion boxers are bright intelligent caring loving creatures special in their own right. One client actually said she diverted from the breed once

rescuelady3 She was trying to get a dog that had a longer life span she said she loved the dog but had to go back to boxers. The Bassett hounds were dumb as doornails. Lol.
