I thought kindergarten me was just retro and vintage enough to be fashionable, lol. 😜 That hairstyle was the result of getting up early for an hour of pain and tears (me), and frustrated cursing (my mother), and would’ve looked like it if they hadn’t taken the school pics at the END of the day. No amount of Aqua Net hairspray can beat recess in hot, humid Florida. 😝 My mother was LIVID, and that was the last fancy hairdo I ever sported for school pics, lol. 😂🤣

calhounskyler @seachelle247 well there’s no doubt you win the sweetest, cutest picture in the world. That reminds me a little of my Mom. My hair has always been naturally straight. I’d sleep in those pink foam rollers on special events and I hated those things. I’d Pull half of them out while I slept so the next morning - half of my hair was curly and the other half - well the other half wax just there. Lol. I look back and laugh so Hard. I thought she was abusing me. Lol.

seachelle247 @plumtwinkle Haha! Adorn sounds vaguely familiar, but I definitely remember seeing the tissues under the hairnet!!! I’d forgotten all about that til you mentioned it, and now I can see my mom with them, clear as day. 😂🤣.
