Meet your Posher, Michelle

Hi! My name is Michelle 😊 I worked in an elementary school as a special-ed paraeducator for 17 years, a job I totally loved, and my husband and I have spent the last 14 years as a foster parents opening our hearts and our home to over 50 children, mostly infants and toddlers. After raising 3 beautiful daughters, we took guardianship of one of the older children we fostered beginning our journey as parents to a teen all over again. Six years ago we decided to open a gently used children’s clothing store in our town called Busy Bees with the goal of providing families of all walks of life an opportunity to purchase affordable and stylish clothing without compromising quality. We wanted children to feel beautiful in their new clothing while keeping more hard earned money in their parents pockets making our brick & mortar location primarily a service to the community and those in need. When COVID hit our brick and mortar location like many, began and continues to struggle, so we decided to pivot and try selling new clothing on line to help which brings us to Poshmark!
