I'm a painter Mika so you know I love that you're a musician! I list many kind ladies under the golden church of Seville about 1/2 way down my closet ( you may have seen it) but I think you'd like some of their closets too!🌷

Seeing your love of music brought back pages of memories while my children and their cousins filled our home with music. Classical violin and fiddling and piano and cello and combining it all and composing and practicing at all hours....violin, cello, viola, piano, guitar, voice and the styles varied as much as each individual. They are all in their 30's now and spread out.... but I found and sold some items they left behind.

My daughter who has played violin for 25 years now got to play in a small town symphony orchestra in France when she was a foreign exchange student, now as a busy working mom in a small mountain town she only picks it up for Christmas stroll at her husband's downtown retail business, but it really easy and fun because of her past training.

My youngest son is a doctor now, but plays his piano daily... and hopes to study more if he decides to cut down his work hours.. My oldest son plays piano and guitar regularly and was able to purchase a cello, and plays in the Middleeast where he is also a doctor. I think all the music in the home growing up helped them define their careers and study in order to help others. I brought them up simply, but the music background developed them as children beyond anything I could have imagined.

@clozeho Oh, that's awesome!! What did you play? 😊🎶 I'm usually a petite in pants/ dresses, but a regular XS in jeans/ tops and S in sweaters/ jackets often work for me. I'll keep an eye on your closet! (Or feel free to tag me in any concert clothes that you think I might like! ;) I'm always on the lookout.)

@clozeho And I saw that you like vintage as well :) --- that taffeta dress you have is GORGEOUS!! A bit big for me unfortunately. I actually have some similar ones from the 50s that were my grandmother's, but they're also a bit big on me. I'm still debating whether or not to try to have them taken in or to sell them as is--I don't know if it will be possible, but I totally don't want to give them up! They definitely don't make dresses like that anymore ❤️

@murkatee And it's so true, I feel like a lot of North-Easterners like myself definitely have their stereotypes about the south. But I've been there a couple times to work with the opera company, and literally everyone I met was so nice and generous... the art museum and civil rights museum were amazing... and you guys have some awesome restaurants and great shopping! Totally love it there and now have some really great friends in the area.

@8minerva8 Ahhhhh you're seriously tempting me. I freakin' love it, it's so cute. However you see the sweaters I am currently trying to get rid of ☹️ and I have more to post.... I have a serious sweater and scarf addiction because I'm always cold and they don't all fit in my tiny apartment haha. So I figured I'd bookmark it for when I manage to sell my current sweaters :). I do have the occasional M listing (or labeled S but would fit M)-- some of the clothes are my mom's, and that's her size. @miika8 thank you! I went from a size 3-5 pre kids to an 8-10 😩 had 2 babies in less than 2 years at age 37 and 38. Let's just say the bounce back when you're in your late 30s is not the same or at least it wasn't for me but Im working on getting fit again 😜 I will definitely follow you!

@infusion77 omg wow, that is a lot of babies in a short amount of time! 😮😮 I'm already noticing that losing weight in my late 20s is certainly different than in my early 20s.... hence I'm selling lots of stuff that's size XXS, I'm no longer *quite* that little and not so sure I will be again haha. And I don't have the legitimate excuse of having kids, just of having too many snacks...😋😇 Definitely following you too, glad we crossed paths! 😊😊
