@centerfoldvault So, I haven't put in my card info yet. Do I need to do that before I can sell an item? Or can I wait until I want to buy something or redeem my balance?

Hello! You need to add that info. in order to sell, only to buy :) However if you do direct deposit in order to redeem your balance it might save time to add the info. ahead of time, as it takes a few days for your acct to link to the app. for verification purposes. If you add the info. now and get it out of the way it will only take a few days to redeem via direct deposit :) Or you can just redeem via paper check in the mail.

@centerfoldvault thanks for all your help! And one more question. So I packaged up my first sale (yay!) in a brown box I found in the house and then attached the mailing label. I just brought it into the post office and watched the guy scan the barcode. It says I should have an email sent when that happens.... Is there usually a delay?

Yeah definitely don't worry there's always a delay. If you still have the email with the label you can pull the tracking number off of there and check on the regular USPS.com website. Usually they update on there sooner than they do on Posh.. but even then there could be a delay.

@centerfoldvault so I just checked USPS and it says that the pre-shipment info was sent to USPS. Does that mean that they know of the package because the label was electronically created? or that they did an initial scan of the barcode? (No experience selling online before this 😁)

Just checked one of my own. Once it says "accepted" it means that the package en route has been updated on their end. :)

@centerfoldvault okay great! Thank you so much for your help. On USPS it says it's arrived at the origin facility and gives an expected arrival date, so I'm assuming that means it's on its way!

@mcf1993 Don't forget to order your FREE USPS boxes online. They will deliver them to your home FREE. Make sure to order the "mailing boxes" and not the flat rate boxes.

@mcf1993 You can always get a receipt when you drop it off, if you go into the actual post office and ask them to scan it right then. That's what I do. Then I KNOW I'm covered. @sparrowsage

@centerfoldvault @sparrowsage @jcrewzie so I have yet another question.... I made my first purchase on Thursday (yay!) and the seller said she'd send it out yesterday (Friday). Do I get the tracking email when it's scanned into the system? Or does she have to click "yay I shipped it" on the app?

@mcf1993 as soon as she marks those off and the package is scanned, you'll d see it. Also, sometimes you get the email whenever after it was sent. Does that help? @sparrowsage

Hi there Mike. No, the seller doesn't have to click the "yay, I shipped it" button unless they choose to. Once, the label is scanned at the Post office the tracking info is quickly sent to PM & you can find it in your "my orders" & your email. Sometimes there's a few hour delay between the post office & posh, though. Hope that answers your question. Thanks for reaching out! :-) Hope have a great weekend!
