debwine56 @mikecborlovan It looks like you’re doing all the right things. You’re following a lot of people, you have a lot of followers & you’ve shared a bunch! Are you sharing your own items too? Participate in all the appropriate themed parties that are held 4 times per day. And share your items throughout the day to your followers (or updating items will get them on the feed too). Only other thing is pricing. Have you compared your price on things to other comparable items?

debwine56 When I started it took me a while for things to take off. I’ve been selling something about once a week for quite awhile now tho, sometimes multiple things. But i’m beginning to wonder if it’s the time of year or something. I haven’t sold anything in almost 3 weeks now. 🙁

mikecborlovan @debwine56 All my items are brand new. And I keep dropping my prices on almost all of them. I was just wondering if it was just slow for a lot of people, or is just the fact that it's hard to get noticed?!?! I really do appreciate your good advise! I'll do my best to Implement it.

mikecborlovan @debwine56 So it seams like people is just looking for now, and they will eventually start buying as we getting closer to Christmas. I noticed that a lot of sellers are promoting big sales events, meaning that it is slow for a lot of them too. We just got to have patience i guess. Not much ells I can do.

debwine56 @mikecborlovan Yeah I hope it picks up soon. I think too there’s just a whole lot of competition out there. Since Poshmark started advertising on TV it seems like there’s a whole lot more people on here. And yeah hard to get noticed amongst everybody else. I think most of the time it’s just luck of the draw that the right person happens to see something at the right time. I sell a lot on Letgo also & that’s even been slow for me the last few weeks.

mikecborlovan I've been selling on eBay for almost 20 years, and now it is very slow on eBay too. I never heard of Letgo, but I'll be looking into it. I have a huge inventory left from my lady's retail store which I've closed in 2010, and I have to move out a lot of stuff. All brand new. Etsy is good too, but they don't allow to sell new stuff only hand made or vintage.

anneperry0228 Hi Mike. Just reading all the comments regarding selling. Sometimes it doesnt make sense. I have items that I thought would sell quickly and havent. The prices have to be competitive to sell and you still need to make a profit. I can go a couple of weeks without a sale but then several items can sell in a week. List on other apps too. Good luck!
