Hi! I'm Millie. I’ve been an RN for over 30 years, and I work in the ER. Poshmark is a fun hobby for me that subsidizes the vacations that keep me sane. I mostly sell used clothing that I believe has a lot of life left. This helps you get good quality items and saves you money as well as keeping things out of landfills. Although I do my best to note any flaws, I occasionally miss a little something. This is not intentional! If you are a person that has to speak with a manager on the regular, or has to google review everywhere you go, mine may not be the closet for you. If you are looking for good prices on quality brands, please peruse my items! Remember that up to 5 pounds ships for one set price 😁. I try to ship the next day, but sometimes I have a very rough shift and might be delayed a day or 2. I try to recycle shipping material also. Thanks so much and have a great day!!

steamboatspace I’m assuming you are asking an honest question, or you wouldn’t ask it, and I’m giving you an honest answer to help you get five stars on your sales. Ratings on Poshmark are only as important to you as you choose to make them, so you will have to decide for yourself whether you care about five starts or not.

steamboatspace Regarding priority shipping, all Poshmark shipments go out priority as part of the prepaid label. You don’t actually have to use priority packaging to get it sent as priority. So you could for example reuse a cardboard box from Amazon to ship your Poshmark sales, which is totally sustainable. Which means you aren’t actually required to use the plastic or tyvek envelopes or priority boxes from the post office.

steamboatspace if you will look at the Poshmark etiquette page, and scroll down to the packaging section, it specifically tells us to include a thank you note, wrap your item in tissue and tie it with a ribbon. I think it’s possible for all those to be paper and compostable or recyclable and still meet Poshmark’s expectations. Obviously you will package your sales however you like, and there aren’t Poshmark police standing over you or inspecting your items!

steamboatspace But these buyers are going to have certain expectations, created and encouraged by Poshmark. So when they’re prompted for feedback, and if packaging is included as a category, you may end up getting feedback on your packaging.

steamboatspace Thats my seventy five cents, and I hope it’s a helpful explanation. I think the opportunity to resell items on Poshmark is wonderful because it is truly more sustainable than throwing them out and buying new. It’s also a great way to find niche items like wool bike shorts (!) which aren’t available anymore. So I’m glad to have had the chance to buy these from you and would happily work with you again.
