infinitedeals @gaprincess I do have one question, when you first started with posh, how long did it take you to make your first sale?? Do you have any tips on how to increase my sales? and what's up with following people and sharing others inventory, is that a must to be successful, with posh? this is my 1st time using posh, so I'm not 100% sure how it all works.

gaprincess @infinitedeals Short answer, I think it took 2-3 days to get my first sale. Posh is a social platform, so the more you share your listings and get followers, the more your items will be seen. I share my closet 2-4 times per day to all my followers, then they share some of my items to their followers, etc. and that’s how your items get visibility. So when someone shares your item, you’re notified and then you reciprocate by sharing some of their items to your followers.

gaprincess @infinitedeals The Guide to Poshmark has a lot of information in it as to how to make sales, promote your listings, etc. that is very helpful. I hope that answers your question!

infinitedeals @gaprincess ohhhh ok no wonder I'm not making sales, I'm not sharing my listings. I thought once you posted an item it would go out to all your followers, but now I understand. I'll definitely start sharing my closet now, that's for sure. Thanks for the advice I appreciate it!

gaprincess @infinitedeals you’re welcome. Just for reference, I share my entire closet at least 2 times each day, usually 3 or 4. And share your closet to parties if your items fit the description, there are 4 per day. AND you HAVE to share other people’s items also, that’s what keeps your search results near the top when people search for an item. But yes, you have to share your items in order for people to find them.
