theclotheshooks @tanet29 the shoes are technically oiled leather, but I would agree that they do look somewhat distressed. The pictures do a really good job of showing the detail of the shoe...what you see is what you would get :)

theclotheshooks @bougiebundles of course!!! By far my favorite clothes/shoes/bags store is the st vinnies on 11th and pearl. I’ve gotten some really good deals there. The goodwill off delta is always good and the Q street st vinnies (Springfield) is so huge you can almost always find something. But my BEST advice would be to take the hour drive to Salem and go to the goodwill bins!!

I’ve heard those bins are great everyone says so. Just have to get up there. I’ve been cheating working at Plato’s I’d scoop whatever I could.

theclotheshooks @bougiebundles I don’t think it’s really a secret, but persistence is key!! I try to set aside a Sunday every few weeks to hit them all in one day, and then I just stop at the ones I pass during the day. I’m really just settling into it myself and have a lot to learn too! I do have an Instagram page called @theclotheshooks, which you can follow along with if you want :)

merysings @theclotheshooks I mainly look online, I check my order records from the FP page to find the names of the specific item, that is very helpful! But if I didn’t purchase it online and I don’t know the name, I just try to describe it on google and try to find a pic 😂 hope that helps.

birdgirl603 Thanks for all the shares. Your closet is Fantastic! Are you finding all that great stuff in Manchester? I am in Antrim about half way between you and Keene. I usually only head up your way when Savers is having a sale so it makes it worth spending the whole day thrifting. The weather has been killing me. Tends to make the slow times even harder. I sold more this weekend on EBay than Posh and that NEVER happens so it is definitely slow.

theclotheshooks @birdgirl603 yes, basically all in Manchester!! We take trips up to concord and down to Nashua every so often but probably 90% of our inventory is from the goodwill in Hooksett and the one in Manchester! We are from Oregon so this rain hasn’t bugged us much...feels like home!!
