I’m trending towards a classier “look” but don’t know how to achieve it without spending a fortune. Any info you care to share would be greatly appreciated! 🤗 I understand if you don’t want to share that info, though.

thrifting_365 @dndkelly honestly I just keep packaging clean and simple. clear poly bags usually wrapped with white twine and a thank you sticker or card. fancier fabrics get wrapped in tissue. easy peasy

kgsouthbeach @thrifting_365 Well, that sounds like something I do. I store items in clear, plastic bag. When it sells, I wrap the package in white, deli paper. I make a cross with dark blue twine, blocking off 4 squares. I stick a mesh gold bow (secured with the twine in the middle) and tape the card off center at the bottom 2 squares.

kgsouthbeach @thrifting_365 (I use dark blue cards that say “Thank You” in gold.) and put a matching “Thank You!” Sticker on the upper right square. I give nail files in the shape of a wine bottle with cute phrases as gifts. I wrapped them in gold tissue and secured at either end with a bow made out of the twine. That takes up the upper left square. It all matches and doesn’t cost a lot, but I’m not achieving the “upscale” vibe I’m trying to project.

Maybe you have nicer customers. 🤗🤗🤗 FWI: Walgreens has packages of plain, white tissue paper on sale. It’s the large, glossy on one side kind. You get 500 sheets for $5.99! The thank you cards were $14.99 on Amazon for 100. It comes with matching stickers!
