joypeacebliss @misha1072 that person added your item to their shopping bag. Sometimes the person will add additional items you’re selling and/or purchase what they’ve added. You can also click on the notification and send them an offer if you would like.

misha1072 @joypeacebliss another question!! how do I know if ill be scammed or not? there us someone who purchased earlier. they have zero items for sale, been on posh since 2016 and have very few followers. thank you

joypeacebliss @misha1072 Great question! A lot of people don’t sell items. That’s not a bad sign. When you sell an item, Poshmark will collect payment from the buyer. You will receive a notification of the purchase along with a prepaid shipping label that includes tracking. Ship the item using that label. Once your buyer receives it, Poshmark will credit your account with that payment.

misha1072 @joypeacebliss ok. I'm just skeptical of people. lol do far I've been lucky and no one has saud they've had issues with the items. I'm just non-trusting and hope they don't try to say something is wrong and I don't ger paid. make sense?

joypeacebliss @misha1072 Luckily I’ve never had that problem. Tracking is really helpful because you can prove you shipped the item. If the package gets lost in transit, Poshmark will pay you AND reimburse the buyer. If you have concerns about a buyer claiming the item isn’t as described, I’ve heard of some sellers making a quick video of the item right before shipping just for verification, especially if it’s a higher priced item.

joypeacebliss @misha1072 I’ve had buyers who don’t use the Poshmark site at all. They find something I’m selling in a Google search and make a purchase without creating a Poshmark account. It’s not been a problem at all. Hopefully it will be the same for you!
