teamaddison Hello: welcome to Poshmark! ☺️ I'm Jessie. I am a Posh mentor and suggested user. 🌺 Here is my best advice: Posh is the most busy during the evening party. Share your entire closet slowly 20 minutes into that party for maximum exposure. Make sure you have as much detail in your listings as possible: measurements, material contents etc. Take clear photos. missonolee @mrstomsha Hi there! I do have some questions... If I list my item at $12, and it says I will profit $9.05, does that include shipping? Or do I also have to deduct the $6.95 shipping, meaning I would be making about $2...?

teamaddison @missonolee Hello. No--on Poshmark the buyer always pays the shipping cost. ☺️💕

mrstomsha @missonolee That's a great question... The 9.05 it your earnings, the buyer pays the 6.95 shipping. The only time you can be charged for shipping is if it weighs over 5 pounds, then you would be responsible for upgrading the label for a higher weight but that is pretty rare. I've sold quite a bit of stuff and only had to upgrade twice when people ordered over 10 things each.

missonolee @mrstomsha Great! Thank you for the quick response. I have another question.... How many days do I have to ship the item? If they purchased yesterday evening, and I am unable to do it today, should I notify them that it will be sent out first thing Monday morning? And if yes, how do I direct message them? Thank you!

mrstomsha @missonolee They say to ship thing in 1 - 3 days. It's not necessary to notify them but if you ant to, just go to the item they purchased and put a comment and tag them, for example if I purchased your item the comment should say @mrstomsha Thanks again for your purchase, I will be getting it out to you on Monday.

missonolee @mrstomsha hello again, I have another inquiry... I shipped an item that sold, however the buyer was unhappy with purchase. The buyer said there was a tear in the sleeve of the top. She also said she opened a "case," but I'm not sure what that means. What should I do to resolve the issue? Thank you

mrstomsha @missonolee I'm sorry to hear that... I've actually never had anyone open a case, I did have one person that was unsatisfied and I just messaged her and sent her money in the mail to pay her back for the item and she was happy with that and still gave me a 5 star review. So I guess see if you can resolve it that way.

I did try to resolve the issue by offering another free item from my closet, and I'm open to anything she feels is fair, but she said she already opened the case and I would be contacted within a few days 😔 I hope I can make sure she is satisfied in the end. You can offer a price for your bundle and I can see which items I'm able to discount, and we can go from there :) some items are already so low priced that it might be hard to get any money from them on my end if I go any lower, but I am definitely willing to try! 🌻

mrstomsha @missonolee Yes, you can add your items that for the party theme. For instance if it is a "best in tops" party, you would be able to share anything from your closet that is categorized under the tops heading. Does that answer your question?

mrstomsha @missonolee No, you have to wait for the party to start then when you click on your item, you will see an option to share with the party and another option to share with your followers. Just click on the party and that's it 😉
