grammykay Thank you for the updated rating. I am so sorry the coat had an odor. It was kind of you to accept it in the first place. Missed it entirely and not sure how. Generally launder everything before selling but I obviously didn't this one and my apologies for that. Hopefully airing it and laundering will make it usable. Again I appreciate your kindness.

missi_stitch @grammykay I've dealt with a lot of thrifted clothes myself and, once I thought about it, I don't always realize there's a problem until later either. The key is baking soda. Several washes in 1-3 cups of baking soda (yes, that much). The trench has been through one wash and it's better already so I'm feeling much better about it. It'll go through several more washes.
