missytall @jasmine_hart hi Jasmine. I’m new to Posh. You offered to answer questions I might have. I have had a case opened because the seller claims my item was not as described. I had shown a closeup picture of the garment that has a snag, and disclosed the flaw in the garment. I called it a snag and she called it a hole. The garment is a lightweight nylon sheer Nike tank top. It sold for $7 (I got $2). I discounted the price because of the flaw. What should I do?

jasmine_hart @missytall poshmark is usually pretty good about evaluating the information thy receive and the items we list and sell. I had a girl try to say something was fake and posh was able to determine my item was authentic through the information that was provided and te listing itself :) You can always email them a response to the case with your proof that you provided these details to the buyer beforehand through the photos you disclosed

audreysfine Wish you’d had the courtesy to reach before dinging my 5 star rating with what, if you read all of my other five star comments, an oversight on my behalf, not a deliberate intention to mislead potential buyers. I wish you would’ve afforded me the courtesy and opportunity to “make it right” before leaving your comment.— especially because you nickel and dimed me on this purchase and I finally gave in to be nice and let you have this beautiful, expensive piece for pennies on the dollar.

missytall @audreysfine I wrote a candid reply to your comment, then chose to delete it because Posh comments are forever. And I don’t desire to cause ill will. I feel like the rating and the price were both very generous for the condition of the skirt and for circumstances, whether intentional or not. It is still your obligation to inspect the garment carefully when listing, and list all flaws. Your description says the skirt is without flaws except for the ink spots. There is a major flaw in the hem.

audreysfine @missytall Again, if you had said something I would have been happy to work with you and have refunded your whopping $25 and let you keep the skirt instead, it’s now escalated into this nonsense. I if there is a way for me to cancel this transaction and get your $ back to you thatI’m unaware of (since I’ve never had ANY problem before, lmk and I’m happy to do it. Life is too short for this nonsense.

missytall @audreysfine your comment makes it seem like I have done something wrong. It is the sellers sole responsibility to know what they are selling. And it is the sellers sole prerogative to set the price and accept or reject offers. I’m not sure why you are trying to blame me for you not knowing your products. And sorry I was so rude as to pay you the price that we agreed upon.

audreysfine @missytall you didn’t do anything “wrong” you just didn’t give me a chance to make things right before excepting the package and leaving the feedback so that now we are left in limbo. There’s no way that I can refund your money without going outside of posh. This $25 transaction is not worth this headache. I would like to give you back your money and let you keep the silly skirt and just be done with it
