beetlegoose My daughter was a daisy and I was her Daisy coleader for two years and we had the absolute greatest time you should see her Daisy vest they had to get an extra parts zone on their vest because that’s how many badges they had from doing activities to going places and I was always so worried because I was a single mom that had no family my mom died at 63 and my father died before her at 61 and the reason why am a single mom is because I have multiple sclerosis

beetlegoose So I thought one cookie time came that was going to be really hard because everybody had big families and both mothers and fathers worked for big companies or fire department police department 911 Operators so I went everywhere and every place even hit up all of my doctors that I go to for my disease and their nurses went to the supermarket where I shop and went through every employee and I did this for two years and both years

beetlegoose My daughter was the highest seller over 500 boxes each year. When we went with fellow girls scouters to places to sell in groups they would sit in their chairs and say nothing and we me and my daughter would be out greeting people asking if they please like to buy some Girl Scout cookies and we would go to five or six different places in groups And no matter what girls because you switch up they all just sat back and did nothing but say if there were five of the girls at one place

beetlegoose And say we sold 150 boxes it would be divided between the five girls yet only my daughter was the one selling them which I found very unfair and then we had 10 girls in our group the second year they added about eight more And some of the girls were bullying some of the girls at school and I went to the leader and I said they’re all supposed to be friends and I’m not going to have my daughter and some of the other girls are bullied in school

beetlegoose And the girls who were bullying were telling the other girls not to go to Girl Scouts and my leader said well there’s nothing I can do if it’s going on in school because I don’t see it when we’re together or have meetings even though she knew that the girls who were bullying were problems so I said that’s it I’m out And I was the treasurer and about three or four years later I heard on the news that there was a true that the treasurer had embezzled

beetlegoose All the money in the account which was after that year’s cookie sales it was like close to $20,000 if not more well months later I found out it was my troop that when I left they put somebody else in charge of Course and also found out it disbanded the second year of brownies such a shame my daughter and I just love girl scouts
