deesbridal Hi its dee you bought the gold dress. Please tell me what the smell was. It was new with tags never worn and kept inside a zipper bag. I don't ever remember anyone trying it on. I have fuel oil heat was it chemical smell. Now im disturbed knowing it was not out of bag please advise thank you

monicadenese @deesbridal like mildew or moth balls ish or something that’s been preserved. It’s hard to describe but thought I would let you know. The dress is beautiful and is actually the second dress that I bought for my graduating senior. This gold dress met all of her requirements so we had to have it.

deesbridal @mcaldwell08 thank you for telling me i haven't heard that on any others. Only on an all tulle dress. The tulle has a funny smell when i unpack them from the factory i think of chemical and fish. Maybe since that one wasn't out of the zipper bag pretty much since i got it the factory smell stayed with it for sure not mothballs and i hope never mildew i need to fluff them out for a while the tulle or built in crinolines like that thanks for telling me

monicadenese @monarchfashion I’m so sorry for your loss. My sister n law passed on the anniversary of my grandfathers death and today I had to go to the ER room and be three doors down from where he was. I broke down. Today was not a good day but it is does get better day by day.

monarchfashion @monicadenese I'm very sorry about that. my mother had a brain hemorrhage. we found her outside it was horrible. If i didn't believe in God I'd probably be much more of a mess. my father passed away 2 years ago. His favorite number was 9 and mom was in room 9 at the hospital. I said God has a sense of humor. I know that she's in heaven with my dad and Jesus and she's good but it is very difficult. thank you so much for caring I hope it does get better soon. God bless you too
