Hi sweetie I was chatting with you about my SD. I am horrible with Instagram but I do need some direction on handling situations. I was told to leave 7 11 because the dog was not behaving. He had all his patches and vest so he could be recognized that he was an SD. He was alerting because my anxiety got a bit high.

He has a plastic card attached to his harness with the ADA laws with SDs. The person said we want his registration that you carry with you in your glove compartment or at home. We just need to make sure he is certified and registered so when you bring him in we don't have any issues. First they never asked if he was an SD or what he is trained to do

The more upset I was naturally the more he was "behaving badly". My anxiety got so high that I forgot I had the law card attached to his harness. The next morning I went up and handed the person the card and asked them to photo copy it and please hang it in the office so no one else has to go through the embarrassing situation I was put in

The person was a different worker and he actually told me he worked with SDs and understood however I have not been back since with my SD. I personally trained him and he does several tasks that I can no longer do. He is also a ESA, with my dr's letter/ prescription.

I never 'registered' him or had him certified with any organization. I know ESA have the same rights as a SA or SD the difference is an SD is trained, or am I wrong? Now I would like to ask since you are more knowledgable on the topic, is there a certification needed and if so where can I have this done and should I put him under Emotional Support Animal or Service Dog?

I live in Lee County FL and have traveled on flights with just his letter/ prescription for ESA.and other up to date records. I am hoping you can point me in the right direction or help with some advice. It is my belief that he needs no registration or documentation that states what condition I have that I need him and what he does. The person that asked for his papers had also told me they need to know what condition I have that I need him

According to HIPPA I do not have to let anyone know what condition/ disability I have and that's when my anxiety was beyond high and I left. Sorry to fill your comments up. If you would like any item I have please let me know and I will only charge $10 for your time in helping a fellow Posher out. I would greatly appreciate any input you have. I do have his training records from when he was 5 months to a year

I had to do something because I taught obedience 1, 2 and on occasion 3, depending on the amount in a class, for 20 plus years and was working with more distructive/ negative behavior dogs and occasionally timid ones. Cooper my SD or ESA was so timid he was beyond my education level so I went to a trainer with him, and he has over come so much it's hard to believe he is the same dog
