bamitsmourgy @shopnaway Thanks! I definitely will! One question that came to mind is the income and taxes. I am an accountant and Poshmark doesn't give out 1099s, so how do we account for our income?

shopnaway @bamitsmourgy Great question! The answer is no. You have to track all your expenses and earnings and file at the end of the year. You can count the room you do your poshing in as a write off. :-) I have a tax accountant and I keep really good records of everything.

shopnaway @bamitsmourgy another great question. A suggested User is like being an ambassador for Poshmark. You have to be social on the app, have lots of shares, be in good standing with sales and a posh compliant closet. To find out more go to Poshmark support tab and search Suggested User. It will explain everything. It takes awhile to become one. 😊

bamitsmourgy @shopnaway Thanks for all of your help! I have another question. If I have brand name items for resale, can I use the photos those companies have on their websites? Or is that infringing on copyrights and trademarks? Do boutique owners actually take all their own professional modeling photos?

shopnaway @bamitsmourgy no problem! You can use stock photos. However, I stay away from them and take my own pictures. Poshmark does do "checks" from time to time and I have had some of my stock photos removed based on infringement. So, I chose to stay away from them. But lots of people use them

Some tips I found helpful: follow all Posh rules in your closet (no 🅿️aypal), ⚡️share a lot⚡️as that will get your items in the newsfeed and could gain you followers, and most of all HAVE FUN. swirlygurl @bamitsmourgy Hi yes it is against Posh rules and you could get reported or banned for "transactions off Poshmark". Take a look under the FAQ, I believe it's listed under there. I only mentioned it because I saw you promoting it in your Meet the Posher page. I love your yoga pics and how you're so awesome! 🦋🌈💟
