Unless they make some kind of black velvet anorak suitable for evening wear, it ain't gonna happen.😂 I guess one consolation is that LA and its art museums (and sunshine) are only 2 hours away. Right now I'm just trying to figure out how to wear any of my suede boots when the threat of rain at any given moment is 100%. Texas? Home of the Blanton & the Rothko Chapel! ❤️

@eastsidesusan I’m guilty of buying Columbia. I’ve been in Oregon too long. 🙋♀️🤭I even own a Subaru now. Lol I’m still not use to all the rain we get during the winter, and I’ve been here four years. 😭 I’ve never actually been to that museum, but now I need to whenever I’m passing through Austin.

The Blanton & the bats are the 2 best things about Austin, IMO. You have to make time for at least one if not both next time you're down that way!

@eastsidesusan I’ve gone all the way in. I’m fully culturally submerged. I still got my Texan roots though...Always! Lol 😜 I don’t even bother with my curly hair most days during the winter. Buns are my go too. We have bats here too girl, once you get out of the city, they are EVERYWHERE!

THAT was really something spectacular. As for hair, I kind of give up. I don't like it up or back so maybe I'll start looking for some really stylish hats (that I will never take off indoors😂Enormous hair or hat head? It's a tough call!)🏳️

My order sais delivered? But I didn't get it yet? Ile check with the Post Office to see if it got put in another box? We have lock boxes and a very secure neighborhood..can you tell me if it was sent USPS or was it another carrier? I've already checked neighbors doorsteps? Let's hope I find it.

Every night at 7:00 when we go out to cheer I try to (distantly) entertain the little girls across the street from me with goofy antics. Their WFH parents look exhausted. I had to draw the line at turning a cartwheel for them though... this is NOT the time to need medical attention! And how would I type with 2 broken wrists?! 🤣 -S♥︎

Why would I even consider a (likely fatal) cartwheel if not for the looks on my friends' faces? When the coast clears I think I'll be doing a fair bit of babysitting; mommy at the spa, daddy at the gym... or both just in the bottom of a closet, drinking & sobbing 😂No need for thanks, ever, but backatcha!
