heynaynay74 I was once happy, living in Sunny Arizona, working as a flight attendant, very independent and now I spend days in bed getting weaker even with the feeding tube. Now I'm in Dallas. I had a mild heart attack and almost passed away twice. I am thankful to be living although my time is now going to be much shorter. Sorry it's late and I dozed off for a minute. heynaynay74 @brightsummer15 My once non cavity perfect teeth ALL had to be pulled. They were dying at the roots and literally crumbling out of my mouth. This has caused me to have sever depression, anxiety, social anxiety and my quality of life has turned me into almost a childlike state. My mother is my full time caregiver now

heynaynay74 @brightsummer15 I became sick after having wright loss surgery. I was a flight attendant on my feet and 230 pounds. Well on the Second night (human error) caused me to be there for 8 months straight. Plus many more months on and off. I just had my feeding tube replaced and I ended up with MRSA. I'm just tired of being sick. I had cancer 3 times, yet this HUGE mistake in the hospital is going to cut my life short. I feel bad complaining as I know everyone has pains and struggles.

heynaynay74 No worries about the shoes, I will make them work. I sometimes forget that with losing 135 pounds being sick, My feet are smaller. I only used to wear Wedges since I'm 5'2" but now it's UGG's, my favorite Sam Edelman tennis shoes and ballet flats. I spent so much time in the hospital during Holidays, my nurses decorated my room with Hello Kitty and even a pink Christmas tree. My problem is that I shop online so much and it makes my family angry because I have no where to put anything.

heynaynay74 @sparklemylady Awww thank you so much! Daisy must get confused when I'm gone for weeks even months at a time in the hospital having about a dozen surgeries. This one is the last resort or I will be living on tubes the rest of my life. I have a wonderful surgeon who says he will not give up on me. I've had cancer 3 times, yet this was a "human" error that has put me to where I am today. Again thank you for your kind words its a long road ahead but thus time I will be ready for it! ; )

I actually saved a man's life in Wal mart on Friday after he had a heart attack and went to the hospital to visit him yesterday. It took a lot out of me but I'm trained and NO ONE else was helping. heynaynay74 ! @fayepgarcia With my case, it wasn't the actual procedure that Thus medication is very thick and must be slowly pushed into the IV or filtered in with IV fluid. The nurse forced it in causing the vein/artery to "blow". caused any harm. The second night post op, a nurse came in right before shift change to administer my nighttime medication which included an anti nausea medication that I've had numerous times.

When my arm began to blow up from the fluids I became extremely nauseated. Firth next 10 hours I was dry heaving and wretching into a trash bucket. By morning I was septic. I had literally blown open every stitch inside holding the new tiny pouch together. I was in immediate surgery.

He is performing a complete removal gasterectomy of my stomach and partial intestine. My esophagus will be elongated directly into my large intestine. I will never be the same...BUT I AM ALIVE! I am not against weight loss surgery, but if he decides to do it...be his voice with Doctors and Nurses. Watch EVERYTHING, learn as much as you can.

I always say, just a kind word or letting someone know they are being thought about can help tremendously. For me the psychological part is finally wreaking havoc so I need to remain positive and as my dad says to me every time on the phone "Look Up" ;) Thank you and your kind heart of gold!
